Straightening hair

Hi everyone, so I decided to write this post because I have been straightening my hair for about 4 or 5 years almost every day. A month ago I decided to stop it, because my hair is very damaged. It's weird because before I couldn't go out without doing it, even if I'm late. It was just number one for me. And now I even try to use the hair dryer as little as possible. Now I only straighten my bangs if necessary.
With this post I would like to make girls, that are obsessed with straightening hair like I was, to think about that. Is it really the only way to make your hair pretty?


I looove straight hair, but not if it's going to be damaged. And I have never liked my natural hair but now I do. My advice for you is to find a  hairstyle that suits you, that you will proudly pull off. My hair is not curly, it's just wavy. And if your hair is like mine, I recommend you to try side swept hairstyle.
And if you don't like your hair waves maybe this could help to shape them. There are also some alternatives for straight hair, that I haven't yet tried, like this one. And in my opinion wavy hair is even more beautiful when it's longer. Just find what suits you the most :)


Also you can use some products to make softer and not so frizzy. This is what I use, but soon I'll try other products and I'll write a review about them...And I know that even those products are not the best for your hair but it's better than using hair straightener :)

    I love wavy hair, so many styles you could work with! My hair is naturally straight though, and I love it just as well.     Kod mene je bila ista situacija. Oko dve godine sam uvek peglala kosu i oštetila je posve. Mesec ili dva nazad sam je ošišala do ramena i vidi se velika razlika. Moja je kosa inače malo kovrđasta i sad mislim, da ću radije upotrebljavati neke viklere (da ne predjem opet na neki 'hot tool') pa da dodje moja kosa više do izraza. A da ne kažem koliko frizura postoji na youtube, za svaki tip kose :)

    I am not using heat for my hair for about 3 years now :) I just like my natural hair now and if not, I put on my beanie/ hat/ baseball cap (love all of these so much!) or a hairband :D

    btw. those cupcakes in the background makes me hungry :)
